After growing up in southern California and attending college in Washington, Jenna came east to study guitar, songwriting, business, and performance at Boston’s Berklee College of Music. While in school, Jenna began working in the hospitality industry, enjoying stints at Ula Cafe, The Blue Room, Bistro du Midi, and Drink, and discovered that she loved the industry’s fast pace as well as the opportunity to both be creative and work with so many creative people.
In 2014, Jenna joined the team at No.9 Park where she went on to become the Principal Bartender at No.9 Park and work closely with Ryan Lotz, honing not only her skills making cocktails but also taking care of guests. In June 2016 Jenna joined the opening team of Bar Mezzana. She and her recipes have been featured both on radio and in print including NPR’s On Point with Tom Ashbrook and The New York Times.
