Do you have valet or parking?

We cannot currently offer valet services

 PARKING VALIDATION 

Bar Mezzana offers discounted parking for the lot at the corner of Albany Street & Traveler Street, INK UNDERGROUND (Laz Lot #5, 90 Traveler St.). The lot is located beneath Interstate 93. Please bring your parking ticket to the host stand for a validation sticker. Parking costs $5 per car and can be paid in the lot. 

PLEASE NOTE: If the attendant/auto-attendant does not issue a ticket, you are in the wrong lot. We do not validate for the parking lot requiring a credit card upfront.

PUBLIC PARKING 

There is metered parking along Harrison Avenue. Please do not park in the Whole Foods lot. That lot is monitored and vehicles will be towed. You may park in the lot adjacent to Bar Mezzana but please note the Sepia building strictly enforces the 90 minute parking limitations posted.

What is your cancellation policy?

Sunday through Thursday we require a credit card for parties of five or more. Friday and Saturday night we require a credit card for all reservations. Please cancel within 24 hours of the reservation, otherwise you may be charged $25 per person. No-show reservations will be charged $25 per person. Bar Mezzana will issue a gift card for the fee and must be picked up in person at Bar Mezzana within 2 weeks of the reservation. Please email info@barmezzana.com.

Can you accommodate food allergies?

Bar Mezzana is happy to accommodate food allergies. Please note them in your reservation or call the restaurant at 617-530-1770 for assistance. We do not offer gluten-free pasta but are happy to help you find other dishes if you are gluten free!

Do you accept reservations?

Reservations are accepted via Opentable 30 days in advance. Please note reservations will not be accepted via voicemail, email, or social media. Patio reservations may not be honored in the event of inclement weather. Please call if you would like to move your reservation to an indoor table and we will do our best to accommodate. Indoor reservations will be honored regardless of the weather.

Bar seating is first come, first serve.

What do I do if I am running late?

Please call 617-530-1770. We hold reservations for 15 minutes. If you are tardy it may limit your time dining with us if we have other parties behind you.

I have a patio reservation. What do I do if it is raining?

Patio reservations may not be honored in the event of inclement weather. Please call if you would like to move your reservation to an indoor table and we will do our best to accommodate based on availability. Indoor reservations will be honored regardless of the weather.

Can I bring my own cake/dessert?

Please notify the restaurant in advance if you are planning to bring a cake. We charge $3 per person for a cake plating fee.

Can I bring my own wine?

Liquor laws do not permit the consumption of beverages brought from off premise.

Do you have time limitations?

We do not have strict limitations, but please keep in mind, 1-2 guests are expected to dine with us for 1.5 hours, 3-4 guests for 2 hours, 5-6 guests for up to 2.5 hours, and 7 or more for 3 hours.

Do you allow dogs? 

We applied for a dog permit to allow dogs but until we are approved by the city, only service animals are permitted. If you are dining with a service animal, you must answer these questions: 

1. Is the animal a service animal required because of a disability? 

2. What task or service is the animal trained to perform? 

If an animal is not acting like a service dog (excessive barking, jumping on other guests etc.) we can ask that person to remove the animal. Animals are not permitted to eat food from the restaurant or brought from outside and must remain on the ground (not on laps, tables, chairs, or bar tops).

Do you accept large parties?

Bar Mezzana has limited availability for large parties. We accept reservations through OpenTable for up up to eight guests. Please fill out an event inquiry form for parties of 9 or more. Our events team will follow up within 24 hours Monday through Friday.

We also have a private dining room that hosts 12 guests seated or up to 16 guests for a standing reception. It’s the ideal amount of seclusion and ambiance; with built in Apple TV, music, and windows that open onto the patio.

If you’re looking for a larger gathering space our semi-private dining room and patios are ideal locations for 15-45 guests. The restaurant in its entirety is also available to reserve with seating for up to 120 guests along with space for cocktails and hors d’oeuvres.
